Desperate times call for digital measures. Queeroots is an informational hub connecting the surrounding Tampa Bay/St Pete LGBTQIA+ community via website. In spite of the fear, chaos, and turmoil in the present-age, especially in Florida, the queer community grows its roots, visibly or invisibly. This project serves two aims: growing the recognition of local queer-run spaces, and connecting those spaces and their people together in an act of joyful resistance.
Canine Companions is a national organization that enhances the lives of people with disabilities by providing highly trained service dogs at no charge to the recipient. Puppy-raisers train dogs from eight weeks to eighteen months, including over 45 skills and comprehensive socialization.
