My research started with a smell: The biblichor of the Bodleian Library at the University of Oxford, sophomore year.
There, as an Oxford Study Abroad Program Fellow, I learned how to conduct research across a variety of subjects in Philosophy and Literature. Two years later, my first academic publication: "American Afrofuturist: Hacking, Technology, and Neptune Frost" in the respected journal African Literature Today. Since the start of my master's program in 2026, my fields of research pivoted towards Communication and Marketing studies. My areas of interest, current and former, include: Queer Studies, Afrofuturism, Disability Studies, Metaphysics, SEOs and AEOs, and more.
